Key Steps Towards Sustainable Weight Loss

Now a days, everyone wants to attain perfect body weight…and different people follow different weight loss regimes to attain ideal body weight. However there are few weight loss techniques that can be considered as sustainable way of weight loss. Among all the famous techniques, I want to draw your attention to brisk walking and balanced diet. Both these techniques can be considered as sustainable way of weight loss in a longer run. Weight loss that can be attained in a shorter time followed by fewer calories consumption may harm your body in different way like you may get protein deficiency if your protein intake is not enough, as strenuous exercises leads to muscle wasting also that may leads to protein deficiency. Likewise, fast weight reduction can lead to micronutrients deficiency that may weaken your immune system too and can make your body vulnerable to different diseases. Along with it, strenuous exercises can stimulate cortisol secretion that can create stress inside your body. Cortisol is a hormone that can leads to insulin resistance if it raises inside body due to any kind of stress. It may slow down the pace of your body’s metabolism from fast to slow and your body starts storing calories into fat. Strenuous exercises may be more harmful to cardiovascular patients i.e hypertensive patients, hyperthyroidism patients, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome patients and anxiety patients also. And above all, any technique that can’t be followed for longer duration may result into weight gain again. So it can’t be considered as successful way of weight loss. However if we talk about brisk walking, it can be easily followed by anyone from a kid to an elderly person. It can be followed in a longer run that means if a person is in their adolescent age and he/ she wants to get the ideal body weight, then they can achieve it easily through daily routine of brisk walking and they can continue it to their 50’s- 60’s and even more. But it is necessary there should be a daily routine of brisk walking followed by balanced diet which will support your weight loss ideally by ensuring all the essential nutrients to your body. Along with it, there is no severe protein or micronutrients loss as strenuous exercises and you need not to have protein shakes following the regime.
